How durable are glass coffee cups?

When it comes to choosing the perfect coffee mug, durability is an important factor. Glass mugs are becoming increasingly popular as many consumers are looking for a product that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also strong and long-lasting. So, how durable are glass coffee cups?

The answer to this question depends greatly on the type of glass used to make the cup. The most common type of glass used for coffee cups is tempered glass which has been reinforced so that it is much stronger than ordinary glass. Tempered glass is highly resistant to cracking and shattering and can withstand temperatures up to four times greater than regular glass. This makes it a great choice for coffee lovers who want their cup of joe to stay warm without fear of breaking the mug!

Even with tempered glass, however, any kind of dropped or sudden impact can still cause breakage or cracks in the cup. Glass mugs should be treated with care so that they can last as long as possible. To ensure your mug's longevity, try not to leave it in areas where it could get knocked over or dropped – shelves and tables should be at least three feet from the floor and away from edges! Additionally, always handle your mug with two hands when picking it up since single-handed grips may increase chances of dropping it.
